A win over Arlington on Tuesday assures the Bulldogs of a state tournament berth, and a spot in the district championship game, Saturday, 6pm, at MPHS.
A loss to Arlington sends the Bulldogs to a consolation final at 2pm at MPHS. That is a Winner to State / Loser Out game.
Other Notes
The Lynden Christian boys (21-2) and the Nooksack Valley girls (22-1) have qualified for the state tournament. Their next game will be in regional play, which will be on either Friday, February 23, or Saturday, February 24.
The Pioneers are currently the state top team in the 1A girls RPI. The Lyncs are the #2 team in the 1A boys RPI. Those places should/will hold, and those two teams should/will play somewhere in our general area in their regional games. There is no guarantee on exactly where, but I think you may have an idea.
